ok... so i was dropping off my son at day care and left the car running... come out get on the road and i look down and the engine light was on and the milage counter said no_bus... i put the car in N and restarted it and it went away, but im worried that this might be a problem that could return

No bus means that you can't communicate with any of the modules and the modules can't communicate with one another. Its nothing to worry about it happens from time to time, if anything just make sure all the fuses are nice and snug.

yeah fuses and i would also check the ecu plug make sure there snug. A big bump can cause this happend to me once or twice before.

cool.... lol, after just dropping a grand into the trans ... i really would hate to have a parked car again
